Is This Right For My Son?
If your son has never sung a note or performed in front of anyone, that’s exactly who this class is for. There’s no audition and no prior experience needed. Every activity is built around games, so boys who are shy or new to groups settle in quickly alongside boys who already like to sing.
Meet the Instructor:
Elisa Bohm is a fully credentialed teacher who has taught music in OC public elementary schools since 2012. She holds a BA in Vocal Performance from UCSD and an MA in Teaching from UCI, and previously taught solfege and sight-reading as part of the Boys Chorus Music Reading curriculum. She’s also a Chorus parent herself, her son climbed the ranks to Assistant Conductor on summer tours, and now serves on the Board of Directors. Her mission is simple: bring joy and a love of music into every classroom.
