All American Boys Chorus Helps Bring Award-Winning Rose Parade Float to Life

This year, The All American Boys Chorus had the incredible opportunity to take part in the making of a Rose Parade tradition! Our chorus families rolled up their sleeves to help decorate La Cañada Flintridge’s float entry in the 136th Rose Parade, applying seeds to the front plaque and rocky terrain of the float titled “Rover Rendezvous.” Along the way, we gained an inside look at how a masterpiece like this comes together—from petals to parade route—guided by the dedication and passion of the float committee’s amazing volunteers.

The excitement didn’t stop there! The chorus performed at the committee’s fundraising gala, where even the Rose Parade Queen and her court joined in the festivities and enjoyed a performance by our boys. One lucky auction winner even received a private concert by the chorus!

The true highlight? Seeing our float round the corner onto Colorado Blvd during the nationally televised event—winning the Crown City Innovator Award for its outstanding imagination, innovation, and technology. What an honor to be part of such an iconic and inspiring event!
