We arrived in Philadelphia just in time for lunch at The Bourse, located very near to Independence Hall.

Next we sauntered over to the Independence Hall Visitor Center for a movie about the decisions faced by four young Philadelphians at the time of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The movie was followed by our tour of Independence Hall.

The room where the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution were crafted.

Then it was on to the Liberty Bell.

We checked into our hotel (which had only ONE working elevator!), but which was nice and had a friendly staff.
Off to dinner at Old Country Buffet and then back to the hotel for a (somewhat) early night.
Tomorrow we\’re off to Washington, DC (via Gettysburg).
